Research Methodology
Every platform review — including our coverage of IFCM Invest — is produced under the framework described here.
1. Primary source review
We begin with the platform's own client agreement, terms of service, risk warnings, and published fee schedule. These documents are considered the definitive statement of what the platform commits to.
2. Regulatory verification
Where a platform names a regulator or license number, we look up the entity on the regulator's public register. Discrepancies are flagged in the review.
3. Feature enumeration
We catalog instrument coverage, order types, chart timeframes, indicator libraries, and mobile-desktop parity. We describe what is present rather than what is marketed.
4. Behavioral observation
Where possible, we observe spread behavior across liquidity conditions and note whether the platform's execution behavior matches its documentation.
5. Editorial framing
The review is written for a curious educational reader — not a prospective client. Language is descriptive, not persuasive.
